Work with bridges

1. Choose a bridge that you find particularly interesting or impressive and prepare to tell the class about it.
2. Bridges do not only have a practical purpose, they also have symbolic significance. (That is why we chose this illustration to open the first chapter of the book!) Write a short literary text, in poetry or prose, entitled “Bridge” in which you draw on this significance.
